Many thanks to those who have spent valuable time to help edit this book!
I love to write, and am in awe of writers who have published book after book. I know how much effort and emotion go into the process, and how challenging it can be at times. And that's why it is almost impossible to go it alone. So this page is dedicated to all those who have helped me in my quest to get Late Whistle on the map. Without your constructive criticisms and constant encouragement, this story would never have seen its first draft. I love you all, and thank you, for your support.
To my amazing family... my wife Gail who has put up with me asking her to read things over and over again, and has supported all my efforts, you're incredible and sweet. To my son Michael who read it when it was a very ugly first draft (and trust me, saying it was difficult to read is being quite generous) and then he read it again; what a beautiful person! To Michael's wife, Jeannine, who read it quite critically (and lovingly); thanks for offering some very sound advice. To my daughter Noelle who is quite a writer herself, who has always been at the ready with ideas and advice, and her husband Paul, who has read the book with enthusiasm and helpful thoughts about marketing. To Brielle, who is always a flame of encouragement when I am at times discouraged about the project. Much thanks to Nick and Brandi Lohr, Stephanie Lohr, and Skip Lohr for spending time reading the story and giving me their feedback. Merci to my wonderful brother Max and his wife Toni (both writers!) for taking the time to read and send back their thoughts to me. Thanks to Kevin O'Mara for the thoughts and last but not least on the family side, thanks to Gladys Drazan, my wonderful 94 year old mother-in-law who read it during its uglier drafts.
To my amazing friends... thanks to Vinny Czaplyski, my college roommate and best friend, for giving this a critical reading during its earliest stages; George Dahl, so many thanks for reading and telling me your thoughts; Dr. Ranya Alexander and his son Gyan; you guys are just wonderful people! Coach Debbie Buff and her dad thanks for your advice on details. Kevin Murphy, a writer himself, for his detailed comments on what needed improvement in the story... thanks so much; I owe you a beer. If I missed anyone please forgive me.
To all my new readers, I look forward to getting to your thoughts and ideas, and I hope you enjoy the story!
